
The 2025 Cactus League title is ours!
The Royals have released their spring training schedule for the 2025 season that features 33 games on the exhibition schedule leading up to the regular season opener at home on March 27 against the Cleveland Guardians.
The Royals begin the Cactus League schedule on February 21 against their complex neighbors in Surprise, the Texas Rangers. They will also end the exhibition schedule against the Rangers, with two games at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on March 24-25.
The Royals will have three off days and three split-squad games. MLB is also bringing back the Spring Breakout Game, where teams play prospects to showcase their talents. Royals prospects will take on Diamondbacks prospects on Friday, March 14 in Scottsdale.
Next year’s spring training schedule also features crossover games between the Grapefruit and Cactus Leagues.
The Atlanta Braves will travel to Mesa, Ariz., to play two games against the Cubs on Monday, March 24, and Tuesday, March 25, in a crossover matchup between Grapefruit and Cactus League clubs. In another crossover contest, the Rockies will visit the Twins on March 25 in Fort Myers, Fla.
The Dodgers and Cubs will begin the 2025 regular season in Tokyo on March 18.
