After a slow start, Jonathan India may be starting to heat up. He is batting .278/.400/.417 over his last ten games, including his first home run of the season on Sunday against the Orioles.
But his defensive assignments have been a bit of an enigma. The longtime second baseman has started 14 games at third and 14 in left field for the Royals, with not a single inning at second. This has come despite some struggles at the place by incumbent second baseman Michael Massey.
Last week we asked Royals fans where they think India should play, and they overwhelmingly wanted to see India return to second base.

Whether or not manager Matt Quatraro will eventually agree with those sentiments remains to be seen!
