Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year, we ask questions of the most plugged-in Kansas City Royals fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
It has been a rough time for Royals fans as the Royals dropped two out of three in Chicago, allowed themselves to be swept by the Yankees for the second time this season, and then got swept by the Athletics. They’re in something of free fall
Last week, before we saw how bad things were going to go during the homestand, we asked you all how many batters the Royals needed to add to the lineup to become a playoff-caliber team. You surprised with not just a plurality but a majority indicating you thought two batters would be sufficient to fix this team.

A quarter of you thought one would do, but, well, after the series against the Athletics, I wouldn’t be surprised if many would like to change their vote to zero and ask the Royals to sell.
