Last week, MLB had its draft for the 2025 season. The Royals had an extra first-round pick thanks to Bobby Witt Jr.’s runner-up MVP season in 2024 and we asked you, the fans, if they used their picks wisely. Here are the results.
The majority of you voted that the Royals deserved a B for their drafting efforts with a huge majority – 83% to be precise – saying they deserved either an A or B. It seems the fans like this draft almost as well as the draft experts around the internet.
The bad news is that with a prep-heavy draft such as the one the Royals just completed, we won’t be able to see the results, good or bad, for several years yet. It’s too bad the team didn’t find someone who could help them win now.
