As revenue sharing descends on college athletics later this summer, revenue is going to be king. Should the House Settlement be signed as expected, starting on July 1 college athletic departments can begin sharing revenue with athletes. Athletic departments will be able to share up to $22 million (or 22% of total revenue) with athletes.
