This Saturday’s edition of “College GameDay” was absolutely electric thanks to Kansas freshman Ellie McCarville.
McCarville drained a half-court shot to receive a $19,000 check from State Farm. All she needed was one attempt to make it happen.
Immediately after hitting the shot of her life, McCarville turned her attention over to tonight’s game between No. 13 Baylor and No. 4 Kansas.
“Rock Chalk, let’s get this Dub today,” McCarville told ESPN’s Rece Davis.
As you’d expect, most basketball fans were impressed by McCarville’s half-court shot.
“That was awesome,” one fan said.
Another fan wrote, “Splashed it right into her pockets.”
“Makes a half court shot to win $19K and the first thing she thinks to say to the world is ‘Rock Chalk, Let’s get this Dub today’ KU fans are DIFFERENT,” a third person commented.
IT’S GOOD ON THE FIRST TRY‼️

The only thing that can make this day even better for McCarville is a Kansas win.
Tipoff for the Baylor-Kansas game is at 6 p.m. ET.
