Kansas is no longer just a “basketball school.”
The football program is off to its second straight 4-0 start after beating BYU 38-27 on Saturday. It’s the first time in 110 years that the program has done that.

Lance Leipold has changed the culture around Kansas and everyone in that program is bought in. Outside of BYU, Kansas has beaten Missouri State, Illinois, and Nevada this year.
The trick for the Jayhawks this year will be to perform better after the 4-0 start, unlike last year when they lost seven of their final nine games after winning their first four.
They’ll face their biggest test of the season to date next week when they travel to Austin to take on the third-ranked Texas Longhorns, who are 3-0. They’ll also be 4-0 if they can take down the Baylor Bears in a few hours.
Kickoff for that game next week will be at 3:30 p.m. ET.
