Former Kansas four-star big man Ernest Udeh Jr. will be sticking around the Big 12 next season.
Udeh, who entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this month, announced a commitment to TCU on Wednesday afternoon.
“Imma need to grow some horns #committed #tcu,” he wrote on Twitter, referring to the school’s Horned Frogs moniker.

The 6-foot-11 Udeh, who was a top-40 recruit in the 2022 class, also visited Duke recently and drew interest from Kansas State, among others.
As a freshman at KU, Udeh appeared in 30 games off the bench, averaging 8.3 minutes per outing. He scored 2.6 points and brought down 1.8 rebounds per game.
Udeh scored a career-high 10 points in 13 minutes a win over Seton Hall last December, and added eight points in a win over Oklahoma during the regular season and again in the Jayhawks’ first-round NCAA Tournament victory over Howard. He shot 4-for-4 from the field in all three of those contests.
Udeh also blocked four shots in Kansas’ victory over Duke and added six rebounds and three blocked shots in a win over Kansas State.
