Tonight is the annual Champions Classic, a meeting of four of college basketball’s most prestigious programs.
As always, Duke, Michigan State, Kansas and Kentucky will take part in the event, which this year is being held at the United Center in Chicago. The Blue Devils and Spartans will face off in the first game of the evening, followed by the Jayhawks and Wildcats.
ESPN’s Matchup Predictor has weighed in on the KU-UK showdown, predicting that Kansas has a 74.8% chance of winning to Kentucky’s 25.2% odds.

Both the top-ranked Jayhawks and No. 17 Wildcats are 2-0 on the season. This will be the fourth-straight season the two blue bloods have met.
Kansas and Kentucky faced off in each of the last two SEC/Big 12 Challenges and also met in the Champions Classic in Dec. 2020. The Jayhawks won two of those three matchups.
All-time, Kentucky is 24-11 against Kansas and 2-2 against the Jayhawks in the Champions Classic.
Tonight’s matchup will tip off at approximately 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
