The Kansas City Chiefs are the standard in the NFL when it comes to team building and offensive innovation. But maybe not so much when it comes to their facilities…
As the back-to-back Super Bowl champs welcomed rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy to the Kingdom last week, fans couldn’t help but notice how antiquated KC’s locker room looked and immediately clowned it on social media.
“So this really y’all’s locker room, huh. Cool, cool, cool….” a fan joked.
“The facilities downgrade from Texas to Kansas City has to be a culture shock,” RedditCFB tweeted.
“This is really how it be when you go from college facilities to NFL facilities. UNIMPRESSED!! Lol NFL facilities need some work forsure!” said Dion Bailey.
“How are the #Chiefs’ facilities so … dilapidated?” asked Matt Lombardo.
“Yall live like this.”
“Bro saw that locker room and was instantly disappointed,” another user laughed.

In this year’s NFLPA team report cards the Chiefs received an “F” grade for their locker room, nutritionist and training staff.
It’s definitely a far cry from the Longhorns’ new $7 million facility in Austin but helping the Chiefs become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls may help Worthy forget about the lack of shine in the building.
