On Saturday, notable NFL insider Ian Rapoport took to Twitter to share a report that may be sobering to some Kansas City Chiefs fans ahead of the team’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
According to Rapoport, Super Bowl LIX may be Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s final game in the NFL.
The report, which he attributed to “The Insiders in New Orleans,” indicated that Kelce is uncertain about his future, and may be able to replace his income through his many off-field pursuits.

Though it may seem unlikely that Kelce would decide to walk away from football just as the Chiefs’ dynasty begins to bloom, anything is possible.
Fans should do their best to appreciate Kelce’s performance against the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, just in case he decides to hang up his cleats in the offseason.
