There were no new injuries to report as Kansas City’s training camp began on Wednesday morning.
When the Kansas City Chiefs conducted their second practice of training camp at Missouri Western University on Wednesday morning, the same three players who missed Tuesday’s first practice were held out of the second one: right tackle Jawaan Taylor, cornerback Kristian Fulton and tight end Tre Watson.
Chiefs’ attendance for Day 2 is the same as Day 1: only the PUP players aren’t practicing.

Arrowhead Pride’s Pete Sweeney explained that these three players were the ones that head coach Andy Reid had said would begin training camp on the team’s Active/PUP (physically-unable-to-perform) list. The team has confirmed that Fulton and Taylor are currently recovering from knee injuries.
On Wednesday, all three were present, but were observed working with trainers during the session.
Meanwhile, there were no hiccups with first-round pick Josh Simmons, who continued to work at left tackle while Jaylon Moore covered right tackle for Taylor. It continues to look like Simmons has fully recovered from the patellar tendon injury he suffered with Ohio State last October.
