The Kansas City Chiefs had their first padded practice of training camp on Tuesday. That means the physicality of practice was kicked up just a notch as the team continues to work toward full contact. Today was just a thud period, meaning players would wrap and release or tag each other instead of full-on tackling.
Both the offense and defense had a back-and-forth day, especially during 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 team drills. Photographers managed to catch some of those standout moments during practice, including some flashes from the Chiefs’ newest players.
