The Kansas City Chiefs needed to find contributors in the 2024 NFL draft and came away with a few players who should be able to make their presence felt as rookies.
Led by first-round pick Xavier Worthy, Kansas City’s latest draft class features high-end talent from the SEC, Big 12, and Pac-12.
General manager Brett Veach traded up twice in this year’s draft, making the bold moves that were necessary to secure the Chiefs their favorite prospects. An athletic bunch, Kansas City’s rookie class has a good mix of pure speed, raw power, and football IQ that is sure to translate well to the professional game.
While a few of the players that Veach chose were blue-chip prospects, others in the later rounds were relatively unknown by fans before they came off the board on Saturday afternoon.
