Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke with the media on Wednesday, addressing multiple storylines that have emerged over the course of the 2024 offseason.
One key topic of discussion was the arrival of Marquise Brown, and what the 27-year-old receiver will bring to Kansas City’s offense.
“Hollywood Brown is a good speed receiver, he can play inside or outside, and I stay away from saying a deep threat although he can do that,” Reid explained. “He can play within the offense and do all of the different routes that we asked. He’s a nice addition and he has some experience and production.
The Chiefs signed Brown to a one-year, $7 million deal with $11 million in potential earning through statistical incentives.
Since arriving in Kansas City, Brown has made a strong impression, working out with Patrick Mahomes in Texas, and has proven that he can be effective in all areas of the field.
